Product Introduction

1. Overview

The SDS/SDS (R) series jet fan is a product independently developed by our company by digesting and absorbing advanced technology from similar foreign products, conducting thorough research on engineering systems such as subways, highways, and railway tunnels at home and abroad. The thrust performance and structural design of this product have reached the advanced level of similar foreign products, with characteristics such as high efficiency, high reliability, large thrust, low frequency, and high temperature resistance. The design, manufacturing, and inspection of this jet fan comply with JB/T10489-2004. The specifications of this series of jet fans range from 630mm to 1600mm, with a maximum thrust of 3500N. There are two basic types: SDS unidirectional and SDS (R) bidirectional reversible. Unidirectional jet fans are generally used for unidirectional ventilation, and in special cases, when the fan is reversed, the reverse thrust value is 50% to 70% of the forward thrust; The reverse thrust, air volume and other parameters of the bidirectional reversible jet fan are equal to those of the forward direction.

2. Structural characteristics

SDS/SDS (R) series jet fans generally consist of impellers, motors, casings, mufflers, and mounting brackets.

a. Fan impeller: The blades are designed with high-efficiency and low-noise wing shapes, and the hub and blades are made of high-quality high-strength aluminum alloy die-casting. They undergo heat treatment, X-ray inspection, tensile testing, metal processing, and dynamic balance verification. The blade angle is statically adjustable.

b. Supporting motor: The motor is an air-cooled squirrel cage fully enclosed wet heat type product with IP55 protection level and H-level insulation; The motor bearings adopt SKF and NSK imported brand bearings; The motor lead out cable can be connected to the junction box on the fan body casing: the motor with a lubricating oil nozzle is led to the fan casing through a lubricating oil pipe for easy operation and maintenance.

c. The fan casing and installation support beams are cut using CNC laser and plasma cutting, automatically welded and spun into shape, and the outer surface is galvanized or coated to ensure the strength and corrosion resistance of the fan. Design the installation bracket according to the requirements of the site conditions

d. Muffler: Mufflers are matched at both ends of the jet fan, usually with a length of one diameter (1D) of the fan. When noise requirements are particularly high, a muffler with a length of two diameters of the fan (2D) can also be selected; The muffler is made of high-quality steel plates that are rolled and welded together. It is filled with ultra-fine glass wool sound-absorbing material, covered with plain alkali free glass cloth, and lined with perforated sound-absorbing panels. The streamlined nozzle improves the flow field and enables the fan to have high operating efficiency.

e. High temperature resistance performance: This series of jet fans has passed authoritative testing by the Tianjin Fire Test and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Public Security, and has obtained national mandatory fire product certification and AMCA certification. When the airflow temperature reaches 280, it can run continuously for 1 hour without mechanical, electrical or structural failures. It is used for fire smoke exhaust in emergency situations.

f. Fan reversible switching: The rotation inertia of the rotor is small, the start and stop time is short, and the jet fan can switch to the rated speed of the fan in both forward and reverse directions within 30 seconds.

g. Easy installation and maintenance.

3. Inspection and testing

Thrust test: measured on a thrust test device designed according to ISO13350 standard.

High temperature fire test: Tested by the Tianjin Fire Test and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Public Security (National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Fixed Fire Extinguishing Systems and Refractory Components).

Noise test: Both the inlet and outlet of the fan with and without mufflers were tested in an open area (when the atmospheric wind speed was close to 0). The sound pressure level of the fan was measured at a 45° angle along the fan axis, 10m away from the fan.° angle along the fan axis, 10m away from the fan.

Fan efficiency: The operating efficiency of the fan is defined by measuring the thrust (N) and motor input power (KW).

Wind turbine testing, mechanical operation testing, vibration testing, start-up time, forward and reverse switching time and other tests and inspections are strictly conducted by our company's Shuangyang Laboratory in accordance with national and industry standards, and have been tested and inspected by provincial and national authoritative supervisory agencies.

4. Parameter Range

The air volume range is 8.1~69.6 m³/s. Specifications of this series of jet fans range from 630mm to 1600mm, with a maximum thrust of 3500N.
